Q1: Does Voltero PS24 portable power station 2.400W include a built-in MPPT controller?
A: All Voltero power stations have a built-in MPPT controller.
Q2: What devices can be charged/powered by Voltero PS24 power station?
A: Voltero PS24 solar generator 2.400W features 4 x 230V/2.400W AC output (Pure sine wave), so it can power most devices under 2.400W.
Q3: How long will the power my device?
A: Working time (estimation) = 2.232Wh* 0.8 / operating power of your device = Hours (0.8=Conversion Rate due to losses).
Please note that the actual working time may vary under different situations.
Q4: Does it design with a power-saving function?
A: Yes, For AC output, when the output is less than 3W, it will shut down automatically after 8 hours.
For DC output, when the output is less than 50mAh, it will shut down automatically after 4 hours.
For USB output, when the output is less than 30mAh, it will shut down automatically after 3 minutes.
Q5: How long does it take to fully charge this power station?
A: The charging method using USB-C plus wall plug can be charged from 0 to 80% in 3.5 hours at the fastest.
Q6: Why does the battery lose power when not in use?
A: The unit may be in standby mode where the power supply, screen, and/or inverter could be using up to 50W. Remember to long-press the power button to turn the unit completely off. If the unit loses power when completely off, try recharging it to 100% and use it to 0% two or three times to calibrate the battery.
Q7: Once we use this unit if there is an over-voltage will it show the error what do we need to do to reset it?
A: When the output over voltag the ports, the overload protection switch button will automatically pop out. You need to turn off the power switch button, then turn it on again. It will reset the unit.
Q8: Why does the battery lose power when not in use?
A: The unit may be in standby mode where the power supply, screen, and/or inverter could be using up to 50W. Remember to long press the power button to turn the unit completely off. If the unit loses power when completely off, try recharging it to 100% and use it to 0% two or three times to calibrate the battery. If the problem persists, please contact customer support.
Q9: Why would the generator fan run on and off if it’s not in use or plugged into anything?
A: The station has built-in smart and silent cooling fan, so during use the fan will be automatically turned on when the unit is hotter to maintain the unit, when the temperature drops to a certain level, the fan will be turned off.
Q10: How to choose the solar panel?
A: Voltero has wide compatibility with other brands of solar panels, as long as the combined open rated voltage range is within 12-45V, 500w Max.
Q11: How do we ship Voltero solar generators?
A: Due to the different sizes of Power Stations & Solar Panels, we will ship separately if your order has multiple products including portable power stations and solar panels.
Notes
- When the control buttons are turned on, even if no devices are being charged, there will still be a certain amount of no load power consumption. Therefore, it is recommended to turn off the control buttons after using them to avoid draining power.
- If you feel that the battery drains fast when used for the first time, it is because the display information of the remaining power is inaccurate when the product is activated for the first time. The power remaining will automatically calibrate by discharging the battery to 1% and then recharging it to 100%
